-- Robert Anthony, (Sep 6 1916-2006), US management educator; Management educator, born in Orange, Massachusetts, USA. He taught at Harvard Business School (1940-2, 1946-83) and was US assistant secretary of defence (1965-8). A specialist in management control of non-profit organizations, he wrote many books on management control and accounting, including several long-lived accounting texts.
